Benefits, Perks and Other Extras
Health Insurance
Unitek helps pay for medical, dental, vision insurance coverage to help employees and their families with their wellness plans. Unitek pays up to 80% of the cost for employees and up to 50% of the cost for dependents.
Time Off
Based on location and position, eligible employees will receive vacation time, sick time and/or PTO based on time with the company. Unitek offers various schedule modifications, including start and end work time and ability to occasionally work from home, to eligible employees. Nursing instructors are also eligible to get semester breaks and incentive-based time off.

Master of Science in Nursing Education Scholarship
Full-time nursing faculty are eligible for a loan-forgiveness scholarship to earn their MSN in Nursing Education at Eagle Gate College. After graduation, 100% of the loan is forgiven over a three-year period while loan recipients serve as full-time faculty.

Part-Time or Per Diem Opportunity
Depending on the position and responsibilities, Unitek hires instructors on a part-time or as-needed basis, providing flexible schedules for our staff. Instructors can also work remotely for courses offered online.

Nurse Instructor Development Program
There’s more than one way to make a career out of caring and we’re looking for experienced RNs to join our team of nurse educators. Throughout your employment, you’ll benefit from growth opportunities, convenient work schedules, and tuition assistance towards earning an advanced nursing degree. If you’re a Registered Nurse, you can quickly train to be a nursing instructor through our Instructor Development Program.

Eagle Gate College and Provo College have a singular focus — to give students the knowledge, training, and skills they need to create a rewarding career in the ever-expanding world of healthcare. Eagle Gate and Provo operate in conjunction with one another and have a total of 3 campus locations in Utah and 2 in Idaho. When developing our curriculum, we teamed with industry professionals to ensure our students graduate with the skills that have immediate value in the healthcare marketplace. In our classrooms, labs, simulation work, and through clinical experience our students receive the kind of hands-on learning that prepares them for real-world healthcare jobs the day they graduate.
Every year, hundreds of emergency professionals receive their EMT and EMS training from Unitek EMT. The comprehensive courses and boot camps equip graduates with the latest theory and technique for first-response treatment of patients. Taught by experienced trainers with current expertise, Unitek EMT workshops include real-world implementations, hands-on training, and one-on-one instruction to ensure that graduates have mastered the knowledge and skills they need to save lives and succeed in their profession.
